My Shot (Vaccine Version)

Learn about the importance of vaccines with parody rap song performed by eighth graders! No wait, really, this is not what you'd expect from that first sentence. It is actually very well done. The new lyrics are set to the tune of "My Shot" from the Broadway musical Hamilton. The song was researched, written, sung, shot, filmed, and edited by students of the Nueva School in California. That's not funny, I know a kid who died from not getting vaccinated.

The anti-vaccination loons are deeply stupid and dishonest people.

Perhaps you should watch ( and LISTEN) to the video before commenting.

I did, sweetpea. And it was awesome. I was adding the message that should ALWAYS be mentioned about the anti-vax loons: they are deeply stupid and dishonest.

Sweetpea?
Your comment saying that the video wasn't funny makes it sound as if you thought the video was anti-vax. The video isn't meant to funny, hence my confusion at your statement.

Yeah, sweetpea, see, I do this thing sometimes where I make fun of how people say "that's not funny, I know a guy with that problem" or "that's not funny, I know a kid who died that way." What I'm doing is making fun of humorless people who don't get the joke. People like you.

Both of you, let's be nice. Anonymous has a running joke for this blog. The other anonymous did not know that.

You're right. I did not know that. Thank you for the explanation. My comment was meant to be emphatic, not unkind, though it's understandable it could be interpreted otherwise.

I've enjoyed your blog for years mainly because your humor isn't based on being unkind or insulting to anyone. I know some people find insult humor entertaining. I don't. I'm sorry to see it here.
